Kayaking on the Chicago River.  We both grew up near the water and spent a lot of time swimming and boating on the lake.  Kayaking is one of our favorite things to do together.

We road tripped with Adam's family to visit his grandparents in South Carolina to watch the solar eclipse.  Adam has a REALLY big family.  He's the oldest of 6 boys total.  His brothers are Andrew, Ben, Jake, Reed, and Carson.  Both of his parents remarried their current spouses when he was a little kid, so he often tells people he has four parents, and is lucky enough to have 4-sets of grandparents.  We both feel really close to our families, and so it doesn't take much of an excuse to visit--though the solar eclipse was a really cool excuse.
